Third Generation: John William Rook < Frances Kathleen Buchanan Price < Joseph Price
John William Rook was the son of Frances Kathleen Buchanan Price and William Arthur Rook (“Art”). He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 19, 1925.
He married BJS (living?) in Vancouver, British Columbia on June 24, 1952. They had no children and divorced in 1958.
About four years later, John married SMS (living?). The wedding took place in London, England on April 19, 1962. They later divorced.
John and SMS had one child:
John died in Ste Adele Quebec on August 3, 2002. and is buried at the Ste Adele Cemetery.

An article by Sophie Cousineau in the November 3, 2001 edition of Montreal’s La Presse, tells the story of how, in 1960, John and two friends, John Dobson and Walter Cottingham, had launched a mutual fund called the Formula Growth Fund. Between 1960 and 2001, the value of the fund grew from 134 thousand to 235 million US dollars. The title of the article is “The Best-Kept Secret Formula in Town.”
The Formula Growth Fund still exists.
