Notes

According to an immigration document she filled out aboard a flight to LaGuardia Airport in New York City in July of 1945, June – aged 26 at the time – was a housewife, 5 foot 4 1/2 inches tall, with blonde hair, blue eyes, a fair complexion, and a scar above her right knee. She was accompanying her husband on a seven-day business trip.

The Dickinsons were living in Stirling, Ontario (in Hastings county) at the time.

An earlier immigration document, from September 1937 when she was 19, gave her half an inch more in height (5′ 5″ rather than 5′ 4 1/2″), and said that she had light brown hair, not blonde.

In 1957, according to voters’ lists, June and her husband were living at 12 Glen Manor Drive in Toronto. They were still living there at the time of the 1965 election.
