John Beatty “Hammy” Hamilton, son of William and Agnes Hamilton, was born on January 9, 1950.

John died on November 16, 2008. His cremated remains were buried in the Calvin United Church Cemetery in Pembroke, Ontario.*

Suddenly at home on Sunday November 16, 2008 at the age of 58 years. Loving father of Eric, Jody, Lisa, Kim and Tracy. Predeceased by his parents William and Agnes Hamilton.

John received the community improvement award in 1993 and was a longtime employee and groundskeeper at the Kanata Lakes Golf Course.

He will be greatly missed by many family and friends. At John’s request there will be no funeral. Interment of his cremated remains will be held in spring 2009 in Calvary United Cemetery in Pembroke, Ontario.
