Third generation (granddaughter of Joe and Lizzie Price): Grace Elizabeth Helen Lowden < Flora Pearl Price < Joseph Price

Grace Elizabeth Helen “Betty” Lowden, daughter of Flora Pearl Price and Alexander Henderson Lowden, was born in Toronto on May 27, 1913.

She married Leonard Charles Quartermain in Bradford, Ontario on January 14, 1932. She was 18 and he was 21.

They had three children, all boys:

  1. Leonard Gary Cyril Quartermain
  2. Alexander Quartermain
  3. David John Quartermain

Betty died on November 1, 1987, at the age of 74, and was buried at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. You can view her headstone here.
