Third Generation: Alan Leslie Price < Earl Stanley Price < Joseph Price

Alan Leslie Price, son of Earl Stanley Price and Hazel Aileen MacFadyen, was born in Toronto on April 9, 1925.

He married LH. They had two children:

  1. RP (living?)
  2. GP (living?)

Alan and LH divorced. Alan and SC later became partners.

Alan died in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario on October 15, 2003.

PRICE, Alan Leslie – Loving partner to Shirley Crone, passed away peacefully at home in Niagara-On-The-Lake, on October 15th, 2003 after a heroic battle against cancer.

He never lost his humour, his sense of caring, yet never sharing what he endured.

Don’t look for a service, it was not his wish. Look for a friend; Share a drink; Share a joke; Share a memory; Feel the warmth of his smile.

Forever missed by all who love him.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Niagara-On-The-Lake Chapel of the Morgan Funeral Homes. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

It is not known whether LH or SC are still living.

Notes

Voters’ lists show the following information about Alan and LH:

  • In 1957, they were living in apartment 309 of an apartment building at 1601 Victoria Park Avenue in Toronto. He was working as a tool designer and she was working as a secretary.
  • In 1972, they were living in Claremont, Ontario (postal address R. R. 2). He was working as a supervisor and she was a housewife.

Margaret Leslie Lindner’s 1983 genealogy of the Campbell family says that the family was still living in Claremont at that time (based on information from Alan’s mother, Hazel).

Alan was living in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario at the time of his death in 2003.

A nephew remembers Alan by the nickname, “Uncle Boo-Boo”.
